A Brand New Start

I'd been gamblin' with cards and dice
when a woman gave me some advice
told me of a man she knew
and said that he could change me too

Then she took me by the hand
and told me of a promised land
and my friend I'm tellin' you 
that you can know this same man too    


Just lift your hands up to the sky
praise the Lord and hold them high
then invite Him into your heart
to begin a brand new start 

 
His name is Jesus He came and died
He rose from the grave let me tell you why
So all our sins He could bare   
and from hell we'd be spared
